Swaps

This is a "man" swap that Tracie and I were in. Cute, huh?

I just joined a swap on my Yahoo group for ARROWS. Now I had to email them and say, WHAT? What do you mean arrows? So, they showed me samples of what it was. What do you think of my swap? The paper was done with the new CM Wishes and Dreams paper. I know it is kinda hard to tell, but it is SOO pretty. The element on the bottom right, that is open in the middle...it is not a mat. The other two are matted pieces. All of the pieces are triple matted except for the open one. What do you think? Will they like it?

Sketch Layout

This is a picture of a page that I did for a layout class that I am doing. It is an online class, and you have to do a new layout each week. This is the first time that I actually used ribbon on a page. That is the only non-CM materials on the page. The requirements were simple. Had to have ribbon, a bunny and three to four pics. I got all of it! Looks like the sample they had.

Using the NEW Creative Memories Puzzle Maker Punch

Okay, so I have been dying to find a way to use the new CM puzzle punch. What better chance then to use it on a kid friendly page? My son had to memorized twelve names for his Bible Study Class. So I, of course, save the paper with the list, to scrap it, because he remembered all the names and won a prize for it. Here is the plan....Christopher will write one name in each puzzle piece to highlight the "connection" of the 12 names. 12 pieces, 12 names. Not too bad, huh? I used the natural pages, with the True Serenity Paper Kit for this page. And, yes, I know it is not titled yet, but it is journaled! It was late at night and I was at an all day Crop for Cancer. So, I will use the Cricut to make a title some time soon.

Masculine Swap

Here is a border that I did for a masculine swap that I am in. I forgot to put the snow on top of the sign, I have to go back and do that. It is all done with CM paper and letter stickers. The snow and signs were cut out using Walk in my Garden from Cricut and the shovel from Paper Dolls from Cricut.

CTMH Stationary Set

How cute is this? We made this yesterday at my CTMH rep's house. We got to make 4 great cards and a pen and this holder. The envelopes are even LINED with matching paper. This was a fun, easy project that my bud, Tracie and I did together.

Big Day Coming!

Tomorrow is bound to be a big day for me. I have someone coming over tomorrow, actually a couple of someone's coming over! A sweet young lady, Morgan, called me and asked if I would be willing to help her and some classmates create a scrapbook for a competion they are having at school. I am thrilled to be a part of this, as they attend the school that Christopher will be attending next year. I am glad that I will get a sneak preview of what things are going to be like for him next year. I am sure that as much as the gals pick my creative mind, I will be picking their student minds....I hope I get lots of info that can help my son!
I will let you know how things go. Wish me luck!!

This is not crafty but....

I just had to share. Today at Church, our son had a test. He had to name the 12 Diciples in order to get a prize from the Sunday School Teacher. Well, he practiced all week...and he did it! He got all 12 of them right. I was so proud. And, in him learning this, I did, too. So, I am proud of myself as well. Here is art that he made in Class today. So, I guess this did end up being a crafty post! Happy Sunday!

Kids Card Plus Class

Here is some shots from our Kids Card Plus Class that we had. Look at these projects, aren't they great? It was a wonderful way to spend a few hours out of the house with the kids on a project they could enjoy. We used the new Valentine Addition that Creative Memories came out with this month. I can't wait for the next class!

Valentine Paper Album Projects

These are my friends and customers, Tracie, Jackie and Kelly. They spent time today creating their Valentine Albums for their hubbys. Tracie will give hers to her hubby today, Jackie will wait for the holiday and Kelly will be sending hers overseas to her hubby when she sends him other gifts from home. I am sure that all three hubbys will love what they have done. Great job Ladies!!

Coaster Box from Close to My Heart

This is a project that I made at a Close to My Heart workshop that I went to at my friend, Sharon Sweat's house. It was so much fun. We cut out this adorable paper, and stamped the top design 5 times to get the flower design on top. The little pearl is just a half pearl sticker, but I think it makes it perfect! What do you think?

Valentine Paper Album Class

Well, today is the day for my Valentine Paper Album Class. I have 5 people coming, I believe. I am very excited for this class. Each guest will bring home a completed project. I hope that they let me take pictures so that I can post them here. I did not do a demo, but I notice that my friends have their own agendas! I do have an idea sheet, but I am sure they will do something that they think of on their own. After all, half the fun of scrapbooking is to create something that you thought of yourself. And, since this is a gift that will be given with love, it is probably best to design it yourself!

Two Page Layout with Jewel Paper and kids

This is a quickie layout that I did using the Jewel Power Palette. I needed something to go in a PicFolio Album, and I love the Jewel papers. Here are the kids at a local park. I love the one of my niece on the links!

Snowglobe for Wednesday Night Border Class

This is the first project that we made in my Wednesday Night Border Class that I held. This snowglobe was created by using the Custom Cutting System, circle shape makers, corner rounder, a couple of snowflake stickers, blue, black, brown, white and Velumn CM paper. How much easier could it be? It took less then an hour to make and everyone went home happy with their first project. Watch each month for the Wednesday Border Class project.

Welcome!

Hi! I have seen so many great blogspots and I am so jealous that I do not have one, so I bit the bullet and made one today! I am a big scrapper and crafter. So, I do not know what you will see here. But we will soon find out! Welcome to Theresa's Creative Spot!
